CSD Dialup (PPP) Setup instructions for Mac OS X

You will need the following information:

• Your user name (login ID)
• Your password
• 56k Dial-up Number: 303-583-3000
• Primary DNS address: 198.80.11.116
• Secondary DNS address: 204.181.152.140

1. Under the Apple Menu in the upper left-hand corner, go to System Preferences...



2. Under the main System Preferences Window, click on the Network icon:

3. In the Network Preferences Panel, under Show, select Internal Modem and click the TCP/IP tab.

Enter the following network information:

IP Address: (Provided by PPP Server)
DNS Servers: (put these numbers on separate lines)
198.80.11.116
204.181.152.140

5. Now click the PPP tab.

Here, you'll need to enter your dialup information:

Service Provider: CSD
Account Name: <enter your dialup username>
Password: <enter you dialup password>
Telephone Number: 3035833000
Alternate Number: 3034131074

Also, make sure to check Save password.

6. Then click the Apply Now button at the bottom right to save the changes you just made.

7. You can now close the Network Preferences window and quit System Preferences. You will be able to dialup to CSD on your Mac using the Internet Connect program, located under Applications.
